The request for the redesign of the website emerged from the demand of a clearer and more coherent clarification of what MediaINFO Digital Library solution actually is. Because of the constant development on the platform, the current website was no longer eligible to clearly explain what we can do by bringing digitized content online.
The design is based on our existing visual identity, grounded on the dark blue background, as it is our common visual practise to date. With more emphasis on colours from our palette, the website now appears modern, fresh and appealing to the visitors, consequently inviting them to explore the site further. The transparency of the messages the site is delivering is accomplished by the playful approach to the size and weight of the fonts. They boldly highlight the importance of the software’s essence while supporting the required clarifications.
Software’s complex and numerous features required an easy to understand segregation. With the creation of the six main feature groups, the design highlights them with a clear, straightforward layout interpretation. To support the specific feature offered by the software, meaningful graphical and video material was created.
The redesign of the website was done by Berlin based artist and graphic designer Mica Potocnik, supported and executed by our web development team.
