Connecting your digital repository with the public & Re-establishing of library as the center of community

We are pleased to announce that Geneza will sponsor and participate at the Digital Library 2014 conference in Jasná, Slovakia. This is an important forum dedicated to digital content preservation and accessibility.

It will be held on 31 March – 3 April 2014 at the Ski & Wellness Residence hotel Družba, in Jasná, Slovakia. The event is organized by libraries for libraries, and is brought to you by the Slovak Chemical Library in Bratislava, Center for Scientific and Technical Information at the Wrocław University of Technology (Poland), and the University of Žilina (Slovakia).

The objectives of the conference:

  • To inform the community of professionals from libraries, museums, galleries, archives etc. about the latest trends in digitization, preservation and accessibility of the resulting digital data.
  • To present successful projects implemented in europe and what it takes to make such projects a success, including presentations by Europeana, the Bavarian State Library, Bodleian Libraries Oxford, the Vatican Library, the British Library and many others.
  • To share the crucial insights that make or break digitization projects today.
