The 99 year-old newspaper celebrates its history by revisiting every single issue going back to its founding. Mediainfo makes l'emilie, visually searchable, zoomable and indexable as never before. L' Emilie is named after its founder Emilie Gourde, who campaigned for female suffrage in Switzerland. The publication is supported -among others- by the Bibliothèque de Genève, The Swiss National Library, and the City of Geneva.

Geneza has once again joined with ASSY S.A. - 4DIGITALBOOKS in a project to present libraries with most advanced solutions for their digital collections and alternative workflow for processing data. We were present at IFLA 2010, Gothenburg, Sweden, 10-15 August 2010. We would like to thank all visitors for their time and feedback. An archive collection of DP 1963-1997 has been made publicly available using MEDIAINFO. Customized skinning was applied and only a subset of features enabled. MediaINFO was selected as their technology of choice for serving presentational layer to their clients. Initially, 32 servers were dedicated to running MediaINFO workflow solution for serving their clients with number of different customized setups.
Slovenian clipping agency and scanning bureau
Their digitization center is result of private-public partnership with National Library of Slovenia. Situated in library itself, they are a leading digitization center for bound material in the region. MediaINFO was selected as a platform for processing and serving over 5 million articles online. Old METS/ALTO processing method was substituted by our complete automatic workflow. Existing METS structures were seamlessly integrated into MediaINFO presentational system. Setup includes billing module for copyrighted material.

MediaINFO G3 generation was unveiled to the public for the first time. Besides innovative new approach for displaying content, visitors could see the demonstration of full workflow from scanning process to fully automatic processing and web presentation. New, easier and much more accessible solution was welcomed as an alternative to existing solutions for libraries and publishing industry.
